The Conservation Principle was made in 4 days for the GMTK 2024 Game Jam by a team of college students. 

Controls:

  • WASD to move
  • Space to jump
  • Mouse to aim
  • Left click to enlarge objects
  • Right click to drain objects
  • Escape or P to open pause menu

Core Mechanic:

  • You start with a limited amount of mass which you can use to enlarge objects. You can drain objects to increase your stored mass. All mass is conserved, and mass can neither be created nor destroyed!

Other Info:

  • Your goal for each level is to reach the black hole. 
  • Hints for each level are available in the pause menu.
  • The number above your head shows how much mass you have stored.
  • All levels start unlocked, you can skip levels and come back to them later.
  • A-levels feature only core mechanics, B-levels feature additional mechanics.
